Here are the scan of the plates:

Quick swatches of plates using Finger Paints Scenery greenery & Bettina Brown :

My Thoughts:
* Remember this  is my opinion and everyone has had different results upon trying the new Cisi&Sisi plates.

1.  Stamper:  A very good stamper, but you might have to prime it.  Just use a white nail buffing block and lightly buff the surface to remove the shine.  Then try out the stamper to see if it picks up.  Remember it might not be necessary to prime the stamper, try it out first.   Most of my nailstampaddicts friends didn't have to prime their stamper, but I did.  I think its great that this set provides a stamper.   Its a awesome set if you want to start nail stamping.

2.  Scraper:  Honestly no, its not good.  The scraper is metal and not even like a Konad stamper.  It just doesn't do the job and might damage your plate.  Just use a plastic gift card, old credit card, Konad scraper or anything similar.

3.  Organizer-  Its awesome that this set has a organizer.  It has 10 plastic sleeves.  If you have similar size plates you can add them to this organizer, so that's a plus for me.

4.  Stickers-  I haven't tried them yet, but they look cute.

5.  Plates-  I didn't have a problem with this set, no problems with the corner images like I did with Cici&Sisi Set #1 which I reviewed here .   This set also has variety of beautiful images, and they are well etched as well.  Each plates has 24 full size images and approximately 12 small images.   I personally love Konad's metal scraper, but for this set, a plastic card worked better for me.  When stamping I always recommend trying different stampers or scrapers to make a image plates work.  If one stamper or scraper doesn't work, try another, don't give up! :)  Over all I think Cici&Sisi plates are becoming one of my favorite sets.  I personally love the full image designs.  I hope you enjoy the swatches, as you see above they stamp beautifully.

Here are some of the mani's I created with these plates and posted on Instagram:

1.  Cici&Sisi Plate 07:
I used Orly Two-hour Lunch, Cotton Candy, Shining Star & Faint of Heart with the The Baggie Method.  Stamping color:  Konad Black.

2.  Cici&Sisi Plate 10:
I used Orly FX Milky Way and stamped with Konad Black.

3.  Cici&Sisi Plate 11:
I used Orly FX Intergalactic Space on Middle and ring finger, Orly Coffee Break on Index finger & pinky and stamped with China glaze Positively in Love.

4.  Cici&Sisi Plate10:
I used OPI Wocka Wocka!, Orly Black Hole and Konad Black.

Happy Stamping!

5.  Plates-  A variety of beautiful images, and they are well etched.  Each plates has 24 full size images and approximately 12 small images.  I had problems with corner images.  I don't know why, it seems the plate or the plastic is uneven at the corners, but I made them work.  I tried swiping in different directions until I found the perfect way to swipe them.  I had to swipe towards the edge of the plate, if that make sense.  I also found that using a plastic scraper was the best option for me, especially when picking up those corner images.  I personally love Konad's metal scraper, but the plastic card worked better for me.  When stamping I always recommend trying different stampers or scrapers to make a image plates work.  If one stamper or scraper doesn't work, try another, don't give up! :)  Over all I think Cici&Sisi plates are becoming one of my favorite sets.  I personally love full image designs.  I hope you enjoy the swatches, as you see above they stamp beautifully.

Orly FX Spring 2014 Collection

Hola!

I hope your doing great!

I was finally off my no buy and I went crazy.  I just had to go to Sally Beauty Supply and see what new collections were in.  This collection caught my eye quickly.  I love glitters even if they take more time to remove.

They are currently BOGO (Buy 1 get 1 Free) at Sally Beauty Supply till the end of the month, so I couldn't say no.  I just couldn't wait for them to be on clearance, like I normally do.

Okay here they are:

Left to Right:  Star Trooper, Gravity Bound, Starburst, Milky Way, Intergalactic Space & Black Hole.

Now the swatches:

1.  Star Trooper
I used Zoya Purity, Cici&Sisi plate 2 &3.  Stamping polishes konad black & Essie Good As Gold.

2.  Starburst
Stamped with Cici&Sisi plate 12. Stamping Colors: Bettina Passion & Essie Good as Gold.

3.  Gravity Bound
On my ring finger I used China Glaze Scandalous Shenanigans, stamped with Pueen 27 & Sally Hansen Silver Sweep.

4.  Milky Way
Stamped with Cici&SiSi plate 10 & Konad Black.

5.  Intergalactic Space
On my Index finger and ring finger I use Finger Paints Coffee Break,  stamped with Cici&Sisi plate 11 & China Glaze Magnetix Positively in Love.

6.  Black Hole
I used OPI Wocka Wocka!, Cic&SiSi plate 10 & Konad Black.

These polishes are very beautiful.  I love that some had big round glitters like Black Hole and Intergalactic Space, but I think they need to add more glitter to the bottle.  I had to fish them out to get them on my nails.  I love the white glitters in some of the polishes as well.  Milky Way has holographic glitter in it, very pretty.  These polishes are thicker than regular polishes so application might be difficult.  I tried to apply light coats and waited them to dry before apply another.  I used three-four coats on each polish.  Then I added a generous amount of Top coat.

What do you think?  Would you purchase them? Let me know in the comments below.

Hasta luego!

Love Birds Mani

Friday, January 10, 2014

¡Hola!

This is the Love Birds Mani I posted on my Instagram:

I think love was in the air today! lol  So I decided I wanted hearts on my nails.  Looking thru my stamping plates I fell in love with Bundle Monster Holiday plate BM-H17, it has a beautiful image of birds kissing.  You can purchase Bundle Monster plates here, they have 5 great sets to choose from.

I used the Baggie Method which is similar to the Saran Wrap Method, but instead of using Saran Wrap I use plastic grocery bags.  You can find more out the Baggie Method here,  I explain it step by step.

What polishes I used:

1.  Wet n Wild Private Viewing as my base
2.  Then using the Baggie Method I used Wet n Wild Club Havana, Wet n Wild Club Candy-licious, Wet n Wild Club Through The Grapevine & Color Club Halo-graphic.  All in that same order.
3.  I then applied a top coat Seche Vite. This step helps smooth out the surface for stamping.
4.  I Stamped with Bundle Monster BM-H17, BM-H17 & Konad Black.
5.  Finally, I applied top coat Seche Vite.

I hope you enjoyed my post.  Happy Stamping!

Gals Fairy Set

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

Hola!

Here I have pictures and swatches of Gals Fairy Set.  I purchased them on Amazon here for $12.99.  This set has 25 plates numbered from GA26 - GA50.

As I always say, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Below I posted the swatches of each plate using Wet n Wild Black Crème.

Wait there's more, here are some mani's I posted on Instagram using the Gals Fairy Set:

1.  Bettina Prestige, stamped with GA42 & Sally Hansen Silver Sweep

2.  Color Club, stamped with GA42 & China Glaze Tranzitions in Split Perso-nail-ity.

3.  Bettina Ocean as the base color, stamped with GA36 & Konad White.  Colores de Carol Haunted Bubbles on my ring finger.

4.  Rimmel Grey Matter as my base color, stamped with GA46 & China Glaze Tongue & Chic.

5.  Zoya Payton, stamped with GA30 & Color Club Harp On It.

Finally the measurement of Gals Fairy Set using inches:

My final thoughts:  At first I was worried about purchasing these plates, because they have mix reviews on Amazon.  I am so happy to say that I really like these plates.  The designs are simple but you can create beautiful manicures with them.  I didn't have any issues with them stamping.

Remember when buying plates, always verify them.  Test them on paper to see if they stamp well, if not just contact the seller so they can help you out.

I hope you enjoy my post.  What do you think about them?  Would you purchase them?  Let me know in the comment section below.

Hasta Luego!
